This issue is full of little reveals and surprise twists and turns. Revelations about old Wonder Woman enemy Dr. Psycho will surprise you, and move you too. We get to see the many roles that Diana lived throughout time, meant to be a part of the overall puzzle of the story Straczynski is telling. There are small tie ins with Trinity, about Diana being a structure of the fabric of reality, but only a SUPER comic geek like me might pick up on that. LOL (Trinity Vol. 1)The last several pages are nothing short of EPIC. I got that overwhelming 'Wonder Woman-y' feeling reading the words, which I wish I could quote here, but I don't want to spoil it. And then there are some nice little surprises on those last few pages too. Sooooo very good.
So if you'd been holding out on joining the new adventures because of the changes, please don't. It is not an erasure of the history. That's all still there. Trust me. The back issues go all the way back to the start of the alteration of time in issue #600, and they can all be found here relatively cheaply. Or, the trade paperback comes out in June. YAY! LOL So give it a try folks, I don't think you'll be disappointed.
